Hey there!

I’m Shef, Tori Larrae — the Founder, Executive & Celebrity Shef behind Breakfast Belle! Since 2015, I’ve been bringing a little Southern sunshine to the North, one delicious meal and product at a time. My love for good food, family, and God runs deep, and all of that comes together in everything I do.

The Breakfast Belle journey began with my Mama and my late Grandma from Santee, South Carolina — two warm, creative and strong women who taught me everything about cooking with love. As a little girl, I was obsessed with breakfast food, and my Grandma, the ultimate Southern Belle, inspired the name Breakfast Belle.

Over the years, I’ve been blessed to serve incredible clients, from Fortune 500 companies Datto, Bridgewater and Yale etc., to food lovers across the country. I also created three signature products — Bamma Fish Fry, Bamma Chicken Fry and Breakfast Belle Hot Sauce — that have been embraced by celebrities like Yolanda Adams and Tabitha Brown, who used Bamma Fish Fry for a vegan twist on fried green tomatoes! Major Food Influencers like Kimmy’s Kreations, Daron the Chef, Bernard Hardison and The Rapping Chef  and many more have also shown so much love.

But in 2023, life tested me in ways I never imagined. After giving birth to my Son, I nearly lost my life due to severe hemorrhaging, and my newborn ended up in the NICU. It was one of the most terrifying, humbling, and transformative experiences of my life. The road to recovery was long — physically, mentally, and emotionally — and learning to balance healing, new motherhood, and business was overwhelming. Naturally, Breakfast Belle had to take a back seat during that season.

But now? I’m standing strong. I'm healed, refocused, and more passionate than ever about rebuilding what I started — with even more heart. I’m stepping back into the kitchen and this business with a new purpose, grounded in gratitude, faith, and the fire to grow something even more impactful than before.

For me, it’s always been about more than food. It’s about building community around faith, family, culture, and fun. I love discovering new flavors, sharing honest food reviews, and connecting with people who appreciate soul-filled cooking and good vibes.

I attended Southern Connecticut State University, and my business is recognized as a Woman Minority Business Enterprise and a certified NMSDC member. I’ve received honors such as being mentioned in New York Times best-selling cookbook, Cooking From the Spirit by Tabitha Brown,  I was a 2024 Girls for Technology Pitch Winner and the 2022 reSET Impact Accelerator Pitch Winner, and I’ve had the joy of appearing on ABC’s Good Morning America and Buzz Feed's Cocoa Butter Series.

And yes — the spelling of Shef is intentional. I chose it to honor, represent, and inspire women—especially in the food world. Women are powerful, and we belong in every kitchen and every corner of this industry.

I’m incredibly proud of how far I’ve come, and even more excited for what’s ahead. I’ll continue to cook, create, and share love with a side of Southern sass, building community through God, family, food, and unforgettable moments.

Let’s keep making tasty memories — one bite at a time.
